How Can I Believe?

Luke 10:19
“Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
Jesus gave us the authority and power to stomp on the enemies’ advances.
He gave us physical and mental strength to overcome all the power the enemy possesses.
And He said nothing can or will harm us.
The question is, do we BELIEVE it?
Do we believe we have the kind of power it takes to overcome the enemy?
We may be in a fight for our life right now or fighting for someone else’s life.
And that’s when it’s especially hard to be strong.
But we do have access to God’s strength and power.
We have His Word.
Jesus overcame the enemy in the wilderness with the Word.
He quoted scripture from Deuteronomy with every temptation.
We can and should fight the enemy with the Word because there is power in the Word.
It cannot be shaken.
It cannot be overridden.
And it is irrefutable.
The enemy knows it.
Write our passage down on a note card and keep it with you.
Or record it into your phone and listen to it often.
As you memorize it, it will become part of you.
Your heart and mind will begin believing it more and more the more you say it.
Whenever doubt creeps in, you’ll be ready to use the power of the Word and the enemy will flee.
We don’t have to live in fear because we have been given authority to overcome the enemy.
We are covered through the blood of Jesus.
There is nothing we cannot do through the blood.
Today I call upon the blood of Jesus and believe He has given me all “authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]”.
May you find you have all “authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]” today and every day.
Daily Prayer:
O Lord, my God, thank You for giving me the authority and power to fight the enemy in all ways. You fully equip me with physical and mental strength to conquer the battles I face. Thank You, Lord, for not leaving me defenseless. Thank You for arming me with everything I need. Help me remember I am not helpless. I don’t need to give in to fear, worry, or anxiety. Help me call upon You and Your Name. You are Mighty and Powerful, Lord and have already won every battle I will face. My strength is in You, and I am never alone. Help me bless someone this day. Thank You for hearing my prayer.
Answer: I AM the great I AM, and no harm shall come to you, My child.
Response: Thank You, Almighty God and Father. Amen
