Luke 1:37
“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”
The angel Gabriel told Mary this truth.
The angel who often stood in the presence of God Almighty.
As I read this passage, I thought how amazing it would have been to be in God’s presence throughout all the ages.
He saw every miracle we read about today and forevermore.
Gabriel was so excited when he talked with Mary.
We can tell because there are many exclamation points used in his speaking.
He was bringing her the most important message ever received by a human.
She would carry the Son of God.
When she asked how this was to all come about, he was patient as he thoroughly explained the process of the Holy Spirit coming upon her.
Then he got excited again and told her about Elizabeth who was six months pregnant by that time.
As he finished telling her about Elizabeth’s miracle, he told her there was nothing God couldn’t do.
He told her that every word of God’s was with power and would come to pass.
I started thinking about all the words I’ve said in the past.
Dreams and notions about this thing or that.
Some have come to pass, while many have not.
However, God’s words always see their way to fulfillment.
Every single word.
It’s almost hard to imagine that there are no words from the Lord which aren’t true, right, and correct.
It is especially difficult for someone like me who makes a lot of mistakes.
But God’s words will never be mistaken.
His Word is perfect.
We can trust in His Word.
We can trust in His promises.
We can trust in His faithfulness to us.
And we can trust Him with our hearts.
Today I choose to trust in the Lord more fully knowing His Word is perfect, true, and correct and He will always do what He says He will do.
May you find the Lord’s Word to be true and His plans for you will not fail for nothing is impossible for Him.
Daily Prayer:
O Lord, my God, thank You for Your Word. Thank you for the truth in Your Word. Thank You for being all powerful and Almighty. Thank You for reminding me there is nothing You cannot do. Thank You for increasing my faith and belief in Your power. You are the God of this universe and God of my heart. May my heart be fully Yours, Lord. May I seek You all the days of my life. May I sit in Your presence today and be made whole by You. Thank You for sending Your Son to shed His blood for me so I can be in relationship with You. And thank You for choosing me to know You. Help me bless someone this day. Thank You for hearing my prayer.
Answer: I AM with you My child and will keep you close to Me all the days of your life.
Response: Thank You, Lord for I can ask for nothing more.
