Jesus is Our Guarantee

Hebrews 7:19, 22
“For the Law never made anything perfect - but instead a better hope is introduced through which we [now] come close to God.”
In keeping with [the oath’s greater strength and force], Jesus has become the Guarantee of a better (stronger) agreement [a more excellent and more advantageous covenant].
I am thankful to live under grace and not under the Law.
Jesus is our Guarantee.
We are blessed to be forgiven when we go to the throne of God because of His sacrifice.
We don’t have to carry the weight of our sins for days or months before we can see a Levitical priest to make a sacrifice for us.
We can go to the throne of God for forgiveness and be set free as often as we desire.
We can sit in the presence of Almighty God.
Commune with Almighty God.
We are continually ministered to by His Holy Spirit.
We are led, guided, and directed by the Creator of the universe.
Hebrews 7:25 says, “Therefore He is able to also save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.”
Jesus died for our sins.
And He is in heaven interceding on our behalf.
He is intervening in our lives.
He is involving Himself in all the circumstances of our lives.
Just as parents intercede, intervene, and involve themselves in their children’s lives, Jesus is doing so in ours.
He is our advocate.
He is our Guarantee.
Our Guarantee of eternal life with Him and Almighty God.
We are blessed to be offered such beautiful promises through His sacrifice and our belief in Him.
Today I am thankful Jesus came to give me salvation and forgiveness. I am also thankful for His continual intercession, intervention, and involvement in my life.
May you find Jesus is working in your life and that He has saved you and is interceding and intervening for you.
Daily Prayer:
O Lord, thank You for sending Your Son to live and die so we could be saved. Thank You for His continual presence, intercession, and intervention our lives. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit Who leads, guides and directs our thoughts, words, and deeds. Help us heed Your guiding Spirit. Help us hear every whisper and be obedient to You in every way. The gift You gave us through Your Son is more precious than any gift we will ever receive. Help us receive Jesus’ sacrifice with all reverence and gratefulness, Lord. Keep our eyes on You today. Help us bless someone this day. Thank You for hearing our prayer.
Answer: I sent My Son to reconcile the world back to Me. Believe in Him. Believe in Me.
Response: So undeserving of Your grace, thank You, most merciful God and Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
