Daily Word:
Romans 8:31
“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us. Who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
I think one of Paul’s most powerful messages that is recorded in the Bible is the entire chapter eight in the book of Romans.
He covers all the reasons that we have the right and ability to live according to the Spirit.
He talks about the Holy Spirit coming to our aid.
He talks about the Lord choosing us to know Him.
In our verse today He is reminding us that God is for us, always.
The Almighty God Himself has gone to great measure to make us His and He will take care of us as His.
Just as we care for our own children and will go to extraordinary measures to make sure they are safe, the Lord cares for us.
He cares for us more than we can comprehend.
Inside of this powerful message, we can know for certain that nothing can come against us that we cannot fight because the Lord is with us and for us.
There is no enemy that can withstand the Lord’s power and might.
No matter how difficult things look in our world today, the Lord is God, Almighty and He is for us.
Today I choose to stand on Paul’s word that there is no foe who can stand against me as the Lord covers me in all ways.
May you find that the Lord is for you and will not let any enemy stand against you.
Daily Prayer:
O Lord, my God, thank You for showing me that You are constantly watching over me and that You are for me. You will not let anything come against me that will harm me. In a world where chaos continues to grow You are with me. You are my Strength. You are my High Tower. You cover me. Thank You protecting me and the family You have given me. Thank You for Your Word that continues to encourage me even when I feel that I may fall. Thank You, Father, for speaking to my spirit. Thank You for sending Your Son to give His life so that I may sit at Your feet and be ministered to by You. Thank You for Your constant watch over me. Help me reach out and care for others, Lord. Help me bless someone this day. Thank You for hearing my prayer.
Answer: You are Mine, sayeth the Lord, and I will take care of you.
Response: Thank You, most gracious and loving Father.
